Northwest Louisiana offers five beautiful lakes which provide a variety of styles of lake front property. Cross Lake and Cypress Black Bayou provide property which is considered to be more residential style homes due to a short commute to downtown Shreveport Bossier City. Lake Claiborne, Lake Bistineau, and Caddo Lake are areas with an abundance of recreational lakefronts such as camp houses and vacation homes.

Cross Lake

Cross Lake is located in Caddo Parish northwest of downtown Shreveport Bossier City, Louisiana. It is one of the areas which offers a variety of beautiful lake front homes to Northwest Louisiana. This lake not only provides many recreational activities such as boating and fishing for the area, it is also the resource center which supplies water for The City of Shreveport.

Cypress Black Bayou Lake is located in the town of Benton in Bossier Parish, Louisiana which is north of Bossier City. It contains a variety of beautiful lakefront homes and is known as an area which provides good schools and a peaceful living community. In addition to the many attractions provided by the lake, it also provides a source of recreational activities including fishing, camping, and swimming. Educational benefits are also provided to local residents of the Cypress Black Bayou community by having access to a nearby nature center and a small zoo.
